There’s a new face around DW360 headquarters – well, not exactly new, but much more frequent!
Logan Fetter joins us as our new full-time Webmaster! He’s previously worked with us on numerous freelance projects the past two years, but now we can say he’s ALL OURS! From websites to SEO, e-commerce sites to virtual reality games, Logan is a builder and coder of all things digital and responsible for keeping our clients’ online content functioning and fashionable.
So we wanted to take a moment to introduce Logan and learn what really loads his webpage.
A Phoenix native, Logan is a true Arizonan who has lived all over our beloved Grand Canyon State, including Chandler, Flagstaff and Prescott. He studied Graphic Design at Yavapai Community College, followed by a full ride scholarship to the Art Institute of Phoenix where he earned his Associate’s Degree in Graphic Design and a Bachelor of Arts in Web Design and Interactive Media.
However, Logan’s agency experience started long before his design education. In fact, he got his first marketing agency gig at only 14 years old, helping to file projects and clean the office.
“I was mainly doing the owner’s dishes,” jokes Logan. “But it gave me an early glimpse into #agencylife, and I wanted more.”
Now the only thing Logan is cleaning up is our clients’ websites, mobile apps and interactive newsletters.
“I love creating pixel-perfect websites and apps that are clean, sophisticated, and easy for users of all skill levels,” says Logan. “Creating successful user interfaces and anticipating the needs of our clients’ customers is incredibly important, and an area I not only excel in, but enjoy doing.”
Through his co-owned company, WriteLinez Software Development, Logan has worked with numerous business (including us!) on a variety of notable projects. Among these are an interactive periodic table of elements and digital historical figure trading cards to bring more engaging technology to online education companies like StrongMind and Primavera Online High School.
“I’m motivated by combining creativity with problem solving and trying to push the boundaries with what’s possible on the web,” says Logan. “I really enjoy the concept of gamification. If every website, app, or online tool felt like a game, it would make the experience more memorable and enjoyable for users.”
Well, Logan, we agree – the world would be a better, more productive place if high scores were involved!
