It seems like just last week we were introducing you to our new team member, Sarah-Leilani….because it was last week. Now we have an even NEWER new hire: Andrea Singer!
As our in-house Graphic Designer, Andrea (pronounced An-dree-uh) creates a wide variety of visual marketing masterpieces for our clients across various mediums. In other words, she helps brings all our crazy and zany ideas to life and makes them look pretty.
Please help us give Andrea a hearty WELCOME, and get to know a little more about the designer inside:
Born in California, Andrea moved to Arizona with her family as a wee pup in 2001. She attended Arizona State University where she received her bachelor’s in Global Studies in 2015.
While her chosen degree helped launch two years of post-graduation globe-trotting, Andrea always had an interest in visual arts, design and photography.
“I have been drawing and painting since I was a kid and started teaching myself Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator about five years ago,” says Andrea. “I’ve been designing and selling digital art prints since 2016.”
Andrea decided to pursue design as an official career and continued her education at Mesa Community College, completing a certificate program in graphic design.
“My specialty is in digital illustration, digital photography, layout design, typography and logo design.”
Aside from great client and non-profit work, Andrea uses her creative juices for good as an advocate for the LGBTQ community. Through her photography website, The Spectrum, she showcases a “photographic journey through gender & sexual identity.”
Her work has been featured in galleries in Phoenix and Mesa, as well as her photographs from a series on immigration rights that were recently in a DACA inspired exhibit downtown.
Besides visual art, Andrea enjoys live music and dancing, and is a self-described cinephile who feeds her obsession with old Hollywood classics like “Casablanca” and “A Streetcar Named Desire.”
