Amy Packard Berry, owner and founder of Scottsdale-based advertising agency DigitalWire360, took home first place in the Kaity’s Way eighth annual Step Against Teen Dating Violence (SATDV) dance competition. Held at the Black Canyon Conference Center on Sept. 23, 2017, Packard Berry and her dance partner Kris Jaus, with Arthur Murray Dance Centers Phoenix, competed against seven other teams to be crowned the winner.
Kaity’s Way, was established in 2008 and is an Arizona nonprofit that promotes healthy relationships and raises awareness about bullying in youth dating through complementary workshops and presentations.
“Kris and I may have won that night, but in the end all of the teams were winners,”said Packard Berry. “We believe in the mission of Kaity’s Way and are happy to raise money to help the organization deliver its message to more young people and the adults in their lives.”
DigitalWire360 has been a supporter of Kaity’s Way for more than four years, and helped raise more than $2,000 for the organization during this year’s event.
“This is just one way I can give back to the community,” Packard Berry said. “While Kaity’s Way is busy making an impact, the DigitalWire360 team has been working hard behind-the-scenes to elevate the nonprofit’s brand through print and video storytelling.
The next charity project for Packard Berry and her team involves partnering with Phoenix Fashion Week and its Fashionably Pink Celebrity Runway Show October 5, 2017. The funds raised from this event will go to support Valley nonprofit Don’t Be a Chump! Check for a Lump!
